I have looked up to Crystalina for a LONG. TIME. In fact, it was in my senior year of college when I was reading her book, “How to Find Your Soulmate Without Losing Your Soul,” that I met Dave (and “the rest is history,” as they say!). In all seasons of my life, she’s been a compass, modeling holy womanhood and motherhood and leading me to Jesus.
And in the time I’ve been working at EWTN, I’ve gotten to know her on a personal level – with the promotion of her miniseries, “Women Made New,” working alongside her at the EWTN Family Celebration in Phoenix, cheering her on as EWTN published “Women Made New: Reflections on Adversity, Transformation, and Healing,” and welcoming her as a panelist on The Catholic Sphere to discuss motherhood and the feminine genius in action.
Welp, after interviewing HER, it was HER turn to interview ME. I’m so grateful for the time we spent together on her “Women Made New” radio show earlier this month – commiserating about the trials that come with raising kids in today’s age; stressing the importance of Confession; and over all, offering encouragement to women that God made us for this vocation, and it IS possible to raise saints during these trying times!
Tune in to the hour-long radio program at EWTN’s On Demand platform, and then be sure to head over to EWTN Religious Catalogue to get both Crystalina’s book and the Cowdens’ book. You can save 10% on BOTH by using code NEWBOOKS at ewtnRC.com, but that code is only good through December 31!
